Sunday Night Mystery Episode 13, Philip Green, The Golf Course Murder

In 1970, in the serene neighbourhood of Sea Mills, Bristol, eleven-year-old Philip Green vanished on a cold March evening, never to return home.

His lifeless body was discovered the following day, strangled and bludgeoned, amidst the trees of the Shirehampton golf course. Despite exhaustive investigations and appeals, his murder remains unsolved.

The community was left shattered, his family devastated, and the detectives haunted by the case. Witnesses were scarce, leads grew cold, and hope dwindled.

Yet, the Avon and Somerset Police's cold case team continues to pursue any new information, clinging to the hope of closure for Philip's family.

As we reflect on this tragic tale, we're reminded of the resilience of the human spirit and the importance of never giving up hope in the pursuit of justice.

Join us next time on "Sunday Night Mystery" as we delve into another chilling tale from the shadows of the past. Until then, stay safe, stay curious, and never forget the power of seeking justice.
